Therapy

Therapy can help children and adolescents cope, better manage anxiety or low mood, and face challenges they may be facing at school or at home. The therapeutic approach used will depend on the needs of the child and family - and will likely include building on the child and family’s strengths, focusing on practical solutions, using play and humour, as well as strengthening the child’s emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. Parents and caregivers are often invited to participate in the process.
